Fire Door Inspection

Our fire door inspections involve a thorough visual and functional assessment to ensure each fire door, its frame, hardware and associated components are in suitable condition and operating correctly. During the inspection, we check for issues such as damage, deterioration, excessive gaps, defective or missing seals, unsuitable glazing, damaged hinges, faulty closers, incorrect or missing signage, and problems with locks or other hardware. We also assess the door’s overall condition and confirm that it closes fully and latches correctly. Any defects identified are recorded and clearly reported, with recommendations provided for remedial work where required. Our inspections are carried out systematically to help building owners, landlords and responsible persons identify potential fire-door issues and maintain appropriate fire safety standards.

Fire Extinguisher Surveys
Fire Extinguisher Refills

Our fire extinguisher surveys involve a comprehensive inspection of all extinguishers on site to ensure they are correctly positioned, clearly identified, accessible and in suitable condition for use. We check each extinguisher for signs of damage, corrosion, leakage, tampering or deterioration, as well as inspecting safety pins, seals, hoses, nozzles, pressure indicators and other relevant components. Where an extinguisher requires servicing or refilling, we assess its condition and carry out the appropriate work in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements and applicable fire safety standards. Refilling may include replacing the extinguishing medium, renewing seals and carrying out necessary checks before the extinguisher is returned to service. All findings and servicing carried out are recorded, with any defects or recommendations clearly identified to help maintain reliable fire protection throughout the premises.

Fire Safety Inspection

For comprehensive fire safety inspections and specialist fire safety assessments, we work with a trusted and experienced partner company who provides the necessary expertise and professional assessment. Their inspection covers key aspects of fire safety within the premises, helping to identify potential hazards, deficiencies and areas requiring attention. Following the inspection, any findings and recommendations are documented and communicated clearly, allowing appropriate remedial action to be taken. By referring customers to a trusted specialist, we can help ensure that more detailed fire safety requirements are assessed by suitably experienced professionals while maintaining a reliable and comprehensive approach to fire safety.
